I just love my Silver Cross 3D system! I have it in jet black, which is only available from Mothercare, and I have never regretted my choice.
BITS I LOVE: - It converts quickly and easily from a pram to a pushchair without the need for separate carrycots and chair parts, thus needing no storage for additional bulky items. The only bit that does come out when converting is the pram liner, but this is quite light and squashy. - The hood comes all the way down over the pram to where it meets the handles, which was great for me as I had a summer baby and the sun would have got in her little newborn eyes otherwise. I was also able to take the pram cover off on warm days and the hood still shaded her whole body. This is also good as it covers well enough not to need the rain cover in a light unexpected shower. - The rubbery feel handles are really comfy and the height adjusts so that my husband can reach them in the up position and I am more comfortable pushing them when they are lower. - It is a lot narrower than equivalent prams by other makes so it gets into shop doors easliy enough and yet the baby still has enough room inside. - The pushchair is really comfy looking as it has lots of padded bits so my baby always looks so cosy in it! The pram cover doubles as a cosytoes when they are still under a year old, which is convenient and looks stylish. - The pram bit lies completely flat and you can't feel any bars through the base, so I feel it supported my baby's back really well. My baby even slept the night in there when we went to friends, which was really convenient for us. We put her to bed in it before we left the house and then we didn't have to transfer her to a travel cot when we got to our friends' house. BITS I DON'T LIKE THOUGH: - It is really heavy and a bit of a pain to lug in and out of the boot. - It does not fold up well in the pram mode, so you have to pull out the pram liner (which then has to go on the back seat if you have a small boot) and switch it to pushchair mode before you can fold it. I found this annoying at first but got used to doing this very quickly. This wasn't really so bad for me, because my baby was little in good weather, but I'd hate to have to do that in the rain. Once or twice I did get caught in a summer downpour and it really was quite a race to get the pram assembled quickly without the liner getting too soaked! - The basket is big but quite inaccessible unless you un-popper it on one side, put your stuff in and then heave it up and do the popper up again. I used to keep my large changing bag in the basket, but once it was in, it was really hard to get anything out of it unless I squatted down and unpopped the side of the net and took the whole bag out. - I couldn't keep my changing bag on the handles when it was in pram mode because there was no walking space if I did, my legs would bang into it. But as soon as I changed it to a pushchair I could put the bag on the handles which was so much easier! Altogether I still love my pram/pushchair despite these small problems and will definitely use it again with my next baby. It is pretty sturdy (which is why it's so heavy), but I just think that makes it feel like it will last through all of my kids. Time will tell... Great Pram But Few Disappointments

I have this pram in pistachio. From birth i found this such a comfortable and safe pram for my newborn baby because of the body harness in the liner it means there is no chance of them slipping down into the pram as you go up and down kerbs.
This pram is so comfortable and easy to push in both modes . I also have a ventura carseat and its so easy to attach to the pushchair with minimal effort. The downsides this model is when i had my baby in the pram mode the hood was not sturdy enough and never stayed upright, kept slipping down. This never happened in the pushchair mode. Also my baby could only go in the pram mode until he was 4 months old as he got too big for it by then. I was so disappointed with that as i loved to push him around while being able to still see him facing me. The front wheel came off on my 3d while i was pushing my baby and the silver cross customer service team were useless and i had to go out of my own way to get it repaired To top it all off now the hood on the pram is connected with a zip which has broken so i cannot use the hood at all and i'm in the process of having to buy a brand new hood as Silver Cross will not mend the one i have. So beware because silver cross as a company will not like to take resposibility for any repairs or faults with the pram as i have found on both occasions Lovely Pram but out grown quickly

I bought the Silver cross 3d in Cargo after doing a lot of research on different prams of this type. I wanted a pram whilst my baby was small but it had to convert into a pushchair without needing extra parts as we dont have a lot of space. The 3d fit this requirement and is a beautiful looking pram. I also liked the fact that it wasnt as pricey as other prams on the market.
Although i love the look of the pram and have felt proud pushing my daughter around in a silver cross, i am, however, a little dissapointed with a couple of things. The weather cover is an absolute pain to get on and off in a hurry. As my daughter was born in December, there have been many days when it has started out sunny but suddenly started to rain and i have had to try to quickly cover the pram but there is no quick way of putting the cover on and if your hands are cold its even harder as the plastic isnt very flexible. Also there is no where to store the weather cover, you cant leave it on the pram as it doesnt fold back out of the way and its extremely difficult to get anything in the basket underneath. My other dissapointment is the size of the carrycot when its in pram mode. My daughter has just turned 13 weeks and i have had to convert the pram today into the pushhair as she no longer has enough room to be comfatable. She isnt a big baby, she is on the lower end of the scale for height and weight for her age so i really thought that she would be in the pram for at least another month and im gutted that i already have to put her in the pushchair as it means i can no longer have her facing me. I really love the look and feel of the pram as a whole, its stylish and very well made but if i had known that it wasnt going to be used in pram mode for very long i think i would have considered a different pram. Nothing but problems

I've had this for 9 weeks and have had two parasols break, the wheels are now buckled and the handles are beginning to wobble. It's now being fixed by silver cross and its been 12 working days so far. Despite all these problems i can't wait to get it back, it's just so beautiful! All in all, a lovely pram but i think it's a good job they've started to drop the price as it wasn't worth the £420 for the whole package that I paid.

I have this pram in pistachio and love the look ,style and design. It is very trendy however the folding and unfolding is unbearable the chassiss bracket has broken very soon after purrchase so only one side clips in securely. It has everything ele you could wish for, good size shopping basket ,easy to push , adjustable handles , comfortable for baby.
