AVG anti-virus and spware detection Reviews

I have to be honest here, I havent tested the full working product which sounds excellent, the reason being you have to pay.
What I have tested is the free version which thankfully AVG fully support.
Another confession is all AVG products in the past I hated, but this is very good and is very asthetically pleasing on the eye. So a good start.
I threw a few trojan horses at the program and it found and removed them.
Malware a different issue, on occassion it did miss alot but the next update sorted that (this is pretty much the case for all anti-spyware programs i guess)
As far as a complete package issue though, it does seem an excellent all-rounder.
Scan speeds do obviously vary from system to system I found an average on one laptop with dual core, to be two hours on a slow full scan. You can adjust these settings slow,auto,fast. Or even scan individual files or folders.
AVG's linkscanner is also included in the free version.

Had the entire program been free, I would maybe have rated this 9/10, thankfully as I say there is the free version which offers some/good protection.
The sad fact is, if you dont want every keystroke you make logged, every site you visit logged or if you use any credit card or bank details online more and more you need to pay to protect yourself, for bank or credit card details even then think twice thats my only advice.... think twice!
