We recently flew with virgin atlantic for the second time and were very dissapointed with their service.
we had a delay of 24 hours because of a problem with the computers, but we were not told about this delay until 3 hours after we were due to fly.
We were then put up in a hotel at gatwick airport overnight, but this took about another three hours to sort out .
We were due to fly out to orlando the next morning ,at about 11am, but there was another mix up, with the seats, so we all had to wait for about another 3 hours until we could board.

The actual flight on the way there was okay , but because of the 24hour delay , the car hire company we had booked with were closed as it was a sunday, so this led to more problems.
The flight back to gatwick was awful ,we left on time , but 3 of our party became ill after eating the in flight meal, and one of the party had to have oxygen as he was very sick, the cabin crew put this down to altitude sickness, though none of us have suffered from this before, so this seems highly unlikely, it was only after we had landed that we found out that there were other passengers that
had also been ill.
This experience has put us off flying with virgin, at least for a while anyway.
