I have recently arrived back from Australia and I must praise the Airline in which I flew with which was Qantas. They were efficient and friendly right through all the flights I had with them. The other thing which happened when I arrived at Melbourne which was my first stop I went to get my luggage and discovered that my luggage was still at Heathrow. So i only had the clothes which I stood up in I was at first very upset.
I went to the Qantas desk and the lady was reassuring that my luggage would arrive on the next flight and would be returned to me where I was staying in Cairns as I was only waiting atMelbourne for my connecting flight. She then gave me an overnight bag with a few essentials which was nice.
Once I arrived at Cairns I then contacted Qantas again and they said I could spend up to 200 AUD and that would be refunded when I got back to Melbourne. When I got off the phone I only had to wait a few minutes when Qantas rang with some good news and it was concerning my luggage and it would be arriving the next day to where I was staying.
Once I got back to Melbourne and went to get my refund there was no problem I had not spent the full 200 AUD but they still gave me the full amount.
I will certainly will be flying with them again.
