There are a lot of remote access products on the market these days that let you access and control your computer from another computer or wireless device but I'm InTouch does have a few innovative features that make it worth a try. One of the more interesting ones is that you can set it up so that anytime you receive a new Email message on your computer you will be notified via a text message on your cell phone with a preview of the message. You can then login from your wireless device to your computer to read and reply to the message if necessary.
Another useful feature is the ability to invite up to 10 other users to remotely view your computer. This is espcially useful for conducting training sessions or online meetings. In regards to the actual remote control, loggin in was simple and the speeds are comparable to other remote access programs out there. It is not exactly real time but it is definitely usable. Only major complaint is that the software does not support remote audio at the moment, something most of its competitors have. Apparently, the next version will have it. Overall, I'm InTouch is a useful remote access program that has a bunch of features to help you use your computer from anywhere. |
