Hi, I thought I would chip in with a gripe about the lamentable service received from Eon Energy Services, address in Coventry. These are the people you go to when you want to change the "hardware" of your electricity supply. We needed the supply in a commercial building upgrading, and duly applied to have this done. The quotation came, and as required we paid up front - over £4k including VAT. That was february, and it wasn't until August that the job got done.No complications, no changes; it just takes that long for the wheels to grind.

As they have the monopoly in this arrea there is no competitor to go to. We're like peasants queueing for bread in communist Russia - wait as long as it pleases them, and take what you're given. Other business owners should factor these "unavoidable" delays into their plans - we weren't expecting it, and it cost us dear.
