Neat but power hungry portable DAB radio

I was looking for a portable DAB for ages before I bought this model. My only pre-requisite was that it worked and was fairly cheap. This model was £50 and it certainly works - I have been using it now for a year or so and it hasn't been any trouble at all. The headphones supplied are fine, not the best, but I didn't expect anything more; the search facility is great, really easy to use one-button-stuff so even the most technically challenged of bods should be able to cope. There are other bits and pieces on the radio like selecting different frequencies/ radio points which I have never used, but if that rocks your boat then it is available.
The only downside I can think of is that it is a relatively power hungry little devil - duracell batteries seem to last for about 30-40 hours or so (I think) whereas others have lasted about an hour and a half (although I did get those from a pound shop, so perhaps it was due more to the quality of the battery than the energy sapping nature of the radio). I haven't tried rechargeable batteries so can't comment on them. Sum up thought? I am glad I bought it, I use it to wander to and from work, when the football is on and long transport journeys. Perfect.
