I'm brand new to the DS and have never had any handheld computer before but I'm addicted to Phoenix Wright now! The stories are really well written and interesting and you get to use your own logic to work out which pieces of evidence in your itinerary will disprove your witnesses claims. The only way to lose is if you keep on presenting the wrong pieces of evidence. There are 5 different stories, of which I've completed 3 since I got it on Saturday, so the only possible problem I can locate in the game is it's going to end too soon!
This is a good game for people who like the idea of an RPG without the fighting!

I'm brand new to the DS and have never had any handheld computer before but I'm addicted to Phoenix Wright now! The controls are very easily mastered so you can quickly get into the swing of the game. You get to try your hand at collecting evidence, interviewing witnesses to the crimes, examining the crime scene, and cross examining witnesses in court. You often have to get a piece of information out of 1 witness to use to persuade the next one to talk, or sometimes you need to find an item that the witness wants that will make them open up. The stories are really well written and interesting and you get to use your own logic to work out which pieces of evidence in your itinerary will disprove your witnesses claims. The only way to lose is if you keep on presenting the wrong pieces of evidence.
