Why did we create Reviews.co.uk?
Quite simply, we wanted to create a fast and simple way to write online reviews of products, services and companies that people would enjoy using. Our goal is to make Reviews.co.uk the best way to review on the Internet.
How is Reviews.co.uk better than all the other review websites out there?
We, like a lot of the review websites out there especially the expert review websites but these site lack a real user input, testing something for a few days is not the same as living with a product 24/7. Therefore we expect more real life reviews not just the glossed over everything is great reviews that are all over the internet.
- Believe it or not, not every one wants to review something electrical. We have created Reviews.co.uk so that you can review almost anything from the service you received at a furniture store to your new car..
- No selling of your details to 3rd party spam companies.
- We wanted to reward the community for writing useful reviews that were better and more informative than the short "I don't like this" reviews that are plastered across most of the other review websites. So after much thought we decided to offer a monetary reward for reviews that meet our guidelines. We hope (fingers crossed) to eventually claw back the money we pay you te review though some unobtrusive relative advertising.
How does Reviews.co.uk work?
Once you install the "Write A Review" Bookmark, you can browse the web, find something you want to review then click the Bookmark. The Reviews.co.uk website will then grab the information on the product or service you want to review and use that as a template for your review. Once you've got the Reviews.co.uk "Write A Review" bookmark installed, find something you want to reveiw then:
- Click on the "Write A Review" bookmark
- Write the review
- Click Send
Can I view all my reviews after I write them?
Yes! When you use Reviews.co.uk, all your recommendations are saved in one easy access location. You can also share your Reviews.co.uk public profile with friends, so that they can keep up to date with your reviews.
Can I display my reviews on my website or blog?
Absolutely. just copy the url text into your html of your Blog or webpage.
Is there a Reviews.co.uk RSS Feed?
Sorry not at the moment but it is something we hope to be working on in the future.
I can see SPAM reviews on the site?
We go out of our way to ensure SPAM reviews are kept to a minimum but we need your help, if you see a review that looks like SPAM let us know straght the way using the "flag as inapropriate" link at the top of all of the review pages. We will then investigate the page and remove it form the site.
What about my privacy?
We know that you care about how your personal information is used. We will not sell or hire out your details to any 3rd party companies. Read our Privacy Policy for more details.
