“We booked our two Jack Russell Terriers, Pip and Huey into Jaycliffe but, unfortunately, Huey passed away prior to us going away. We were very unsure how Pip would settle without him but we had no need to be concerned. We messaged a number of times and were reassured that she was fine. Pip can be very fearful around strangers so the fact that she had allowed them to bath her prior to us collecting her showed us that she was relaxed in their care. We are in the process of organising another holiday and booking Pip into Jaycliffe again is first on my list of things to do.”

“We was very nervous about leaving our boys in kennels again as we had a bad experience with another kennels the previous year. However Jaycliffe were amazing, they sent us photos of our dogs and they looked truly happy! One of my dogs is very nervous and they spent time with him to bring him around! My dogs must have loved everyone there as they let them bath them and never let us haha. We trust Jaycliffe and we have already booked in again. My dogs came home very happy! They didn’t look worn out/tired or skinny like last time! They were happy champs and smelt lovely! Thank you for making our dogs happy while we was away Jaycliffe! Rollo and Ragnar clearly loved you! It’s great to go away and know your dogs are being looked after :) x”

“Jaycliffe makes us very happy. They provide a loving safe and caring service for beautiful giant Pyrenean mountain dog Ozzie. He loves coming to stay, which is most weekends. He also has longer stays. When we pick up he’s always beaming, so happy calm and well looked after. He always looks beautiful too on his longer stays he has been bathed and groomed. Coming out looking stunning. The service is superb. Regular emails are received keeping us in the loop so we know at all times that he’s been loved and cared for as well as he would be at home. I cant thank you enough for your help and Ozzie will continue to visit you most weekends and when we go on hols, without a shadow of doubt. Thank you for everything.”

“I have never left my nervous girl in kennels before but unfortunate circumstances left me no choice. I had phoned numerous kennels to find someone who had a large enough kennel and the confidence to take her. I have to say Jaycliffe kennels were amazing Mike took the time to try and bond with her and sent me photos and videos of his progress. I can’t thank him enough. It meant so much to be kept informed. “You get 1 star so I can leave a review!! You deserve Zero!! You FAILED to supervise our dogs feeding when this instruction was given both verbal and written!! You FAILED to immediately let us or a vet know when one of our dogs was obviously extremely poorly and needing medical help!!! You FAILED to tell us or the vet that she hadn’t been able to stand up at all since the previous day until we asked you as the vet needed more information. You couldn’t have prevented her from getting ill but you could have prevented her from unnecessary suffering by getting her medical help much much quicker!!! You haven’t even had the decency to phone and ask how she is!! We couldn’t see her suffer and under the vets advice she was put to sleep. RIP our precious Daisy”

“I was really nervous leaving my baby in kennels as he had an awful experience previously elsewhere, Bowie stayed at Jaycliffe for 6 night and they kept me updated constantly. Bowie was so happy when we picked him up and you could see he had made a lovely bond with the young girl who brought him out to us after his bath! Thank you so so much for taking such good care of our boy, we will absolutely be back!”

“I have used Jaycliffe for several years now to board my staffy Bonnie. I work away at times and Bonnie is usually there a couple of times a month, sometimes more, for a couple of days at a time. She is very happy, well looked after, to the point she is reluctant to come home! I would recommend Jaycliffe to anyone looking for a good, well run boarding kennels whose staff go above and beyond to make your pet comfortable and happy.”

“We took our 4 month old, quite boisterous Jackapoo puppy to see Joanne for grooming. He loved her and came back looking wonderful and very happy. Joanne is very caring, kind and knowledgeable, and is understanding of puppy parents concerns! Wouldn't hesitate to return.”

“Absolutely appalled and heartbroken I actually cried when my husband brought our Maine coon cat home from having a groom at this place. We only wanted her nails cutting and a good groom to get any knots out. They asked him if they should take a bit off her belly to make her a little cooler but she has been shaved right from her groin area to her chest area right down to the skin. Her lovely Maine looks like it’s beeb hacked with a pair of blunt scissors. She looks a mess and I’m angry that they have shaved her needlessly as they may have done more harm than good. She looks a complete mess and I sm so upset. Will never use this place again and will definitely not recommend it to anyone. Obviously no idea about cat grooming or cat welfare.”

We are sorry you are unhappy with the grooming provided for Bella, As requested we combed her coat to remove dead hair (it was not cut), and trimmed her nails, we spoke to your husband about the matting on her stomach which would have caused discomfort to either comb out or leave. I suggested we clipped off her belly which would also help to keep her cool in the hot weather and he agreed to is doing this. The Jaycliffe Pets Team
