“I used to complete my company accounts using spreadsheets and with the help of expensive accountants. It could take days to track down bad figures before submitting the numbers for my accountant to look over. All done automatically and daily now with Freeagent. Just log in, enter the days expenses, raise an invoice, check balances, look over VAT and CorpTax liabilities in realtime. It even reminds you when you need to submit data to HMRC, and has the submissions ready to go! Recommended!”

“Very simple to use, the upload of bamk statements went very smoothly, it handles currencies very well and knows the difference between dollars, pounds and euros, unlike Quickbooks, say. A big time saver!.”

“Overall a fantasic bookkeeping/financial control package. Does more than coudl have hoped as a new business. Links with Bank and HMRC to handle live banking reconclliation and tax returns. Very happy. Only minor missing feature I have come across to date is a feature to create/track "Purchase orders".”

“I have been using other well known accounting software which I just found too complicated for me as a sole trader. I have FreeAgent linked to my natwest bank account. FreeAgent basically does all the work for you including catogorising which was my main point of confusion. Love it”

“Freeagent is so easy to navigate around and for us being a small business without admin staff, that's so important. Also, I am very impressed at the support that's been constant throughout the set up. They give you every confidence that you are doing things right. “Really simple to use tools and good layout for the dashboard. Expenses alignment and declaration of income and expenses could be easier to use. However, a very effective piece of software especially as it's free.”

“Really handy and great on most things. Its approval of transactions is a little glitchy, could do with a menu where it lists and holds them when you are buying online like the NatWest banking app does as it often freezes on me at present. Also I know it’s old tech but the ability to pay cheques in would be helpful. Would also be good to be able to pay in at the NatWest bank as well as post offices. As I say, most things it does really well 👍”
