“Amanda did a great job. I am not really fussed about my hair but with her professionalism and can do attitude she worked her magic and the result is amazing. Bobbio is an amazing, friendly and highly skilled place and I can only say that if you want quality and professionalism Go there!”

“This was the first visit and Natalia was very good at giving me advice about what I should do with my hair and I came away with a fab haircut and what I should do in the future. Also many thanks to the girls for looking after me so well and a special thanks to my hair washer, a fantastic head massage too. Thank you to everyone and I would thoroughly recommend, stellar customer service!”

“Jackie has been cutting and highlighting my hair for over fifteen years - I moved to Suffolk 4 years ago and still come to London just to have my hair done by Jackie - Jackie has an amazing talent and her successful business is so well deserved - she cuts and highlights my hair with such precision - I'm always thrilled with the result. “Always excellent service when I have been. It has taken me a while to find a hairdresser that can cut and style my hair the way I like it. The assistants always offer me a nice head massage which is very relaxing :) I have already recommended to my colleagues and my sister. They now remember my name when I come in which is a really nice touch!”

“I have been using this hair dressers for six years and wouldn't go anywhere else! Chermaine, Jackie, Julie and Hadley are extremely competent and ensure what you have asked for will be delivered. They will go above and beyond to make the experience enjoyable. Equally, they are honest about what should be done (I wanted to go really blonde and am naturally very dark) I requested to go very blonde within one session. Chermaine was very honest about skin colour and toning, Explaining the process also takes time. Chermaine has worked closely with me throughout the time I've been with Bobbio, and she has most certainly become a friend also. I recently moved nearly two hours away, and despite the commute to London, I will be making the journey every three months to have my hair done in Wapping. A very big thank you to the staff for all of their hard work, commitment and patience (as I know I've been somewhat tedious with only wanting teeny amounts cut off each time) Your cups of tea and amazingly tasty biscuits have been good too) I'll miss you all, but know our paths will cross again when my rootes come through and my hair needs cutting :) Xxxx”

“I have been going to Bobbio for years and it's fantastic. I have used several stylists during this time, and I have always been extremely satisfied with my cuts and colour. The service is truly friendly and I'm always made to feel as though I'm their favourite client...maybe I am! Highly recommended.”

“Jackie and her staff are welcoming, helpful and extremely good at colouring, styling, and offering advice on how to update your look. When I arrived in London nearly five years ago I tried various local salons but only at Bobbio's was I finally happy with my hair and I won't be looking elsewhere!”

“I read all of these positive reviews, and was excited to try this hairdressers out. I had long bra strap length hair, and went armed with pictures of what I wanted (Jessica Alba's longer below shoulder length tousled hair) The consultation went well, I was told that the style would suit me, and not too much would be cut off the length. He said 2.5 inches, which is fine, and I specified no short layers as I am curly and they are impossible to style and not frizz, flick out. I have ended up with more than six inches removed, and thick layers which measure about 4 inches all around my head, they are chunky like wings. I said it looked shorter and was told no this is just two and a half inches as discussed. I was so upset, but came home and tried to style it myself and look at it objectively, but it's awful and so far from what I asked for. I'll go back tomorrow and explain, but nothing can be done, I can't have more off, I'll have little hair left! It's just hair I know, but Ive felt like crying since having it done. I'm so careful, which is why I go with pictures so there will be no misunderstandings. I feel like the consultation, the pictures, were totally disregarded, and then I was told 'do you know who Alexa Chung is? I've given you a bob cut like hers'. I do know who she is, but this isn't what I asked for!! I can live with a bad style, but this will take months and months to grow out. The layers especially, I don't know what to do with it.”

Dear Holly, I am very disappointed and unhappy to read that you are not pleased with your hair cut and feel you had to write this review. We take pride in the service we offer to our clients. I have tried to call you, however your phone has gone to voice mail . As I have not seen your cut, I would like to invite you to come and see me in the salon so I can have the opportunity to look at your hair cut as I believe I will be able to propose a solution and advise and on how we can correct it. I am more than happy to find a suitable time in my schedule to ensure I get to see you at your earliest convenience. “I have been going to Jackie for many years, and continue to be happy with the service. All of the staff are welcoming as soon as I arrive in the salon, and make me feel special. Jackie is obviously very familiar with what style and treatment works for my hair, and often I am happy to just leave her to it, without much discussion, knowing that all will be well. However, if I am concerned about anything, want to question or be reminded what she does, she is happy to discuss this, and adjust anything accordingly. I know if I decide I want to try something new, she will give me ideas as to what would suit me. The professionalism and friendliness of the obviously well-trained staff mean I always leave the salon feeling better than when I arrived!”

“I have been coming here for years and even though I moved away from the area to Eastbourne a few years ago I still use the salon every 6 weeks and I wouldn't even think about changing to a local one. Jackie and her team are simply the best. There is always a warm welcome, many giggles to be had whilst your hair is transformed and I always look forward to my visits. it is a fantastic salon with highly trained and professional staff and they should all give themselves a pat on the back x”
